Terms of Service

This agreement is entered into between the Horse Owner (hereafter referred to as the “HORSE OWNER”) and MR DANIEL KINSON & MRS CHRIS KINSON of GREAT EAVES FARM, EAVES LANE, BUCKNALL, STOKE ON TRENT, STAFFORDSHIRE, ST2 8LY (hereafter referred to as the “PROPRIETOR”).

The agreement pertains to livery services provided by the PROPRIETOR for the HORSE OWNER’s horse (hereafter referred to as the “HORSE”). The HORSE OWNER confirms that the HORSE is appropriately passported, microchipped, and has all necessary documentation, including a valid passport and microchip identification.

The PROPRIETOR accepts no liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury, or illness to riders, horses, owners, spectators, property, vehicles, or their contents and accessories, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by negligence. This applies to any incidents arising from negligence, breach of contract, or any other cause.

  1. Parking Disclaimer
    All horseboxes and trailers are parked entirely at the owner’s own risk. Great Eaves Farm accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage.

  2. Fire and Evacuation Policy
    All liveries must familiarise themselves with Great Eaves Farm’s Fire and Evacuation Policy. This document is available upon request and must be followed to ensure safety.

  3. Liability
    Save for death or personal injury caused by negligence, Great Eaves Farm and its proprietors accept no responsibility for any accident, injury, illness, or loss involving horses, owners, riders, vehicles, or property while on the premises.

  4. Livery Services
    The horse is kept on a DIY Livery basis livery is payable in advance by the 1st of each month. All food and bedding must be purchased from Great Eaves Farm.

    Services may include:

    • Turnout, bring-in, rug changes
    • Stable maintenance, bedding, and water
    • Preparation of hay and feed
    • Grooming, exercise, tack cleaning
    • Worming
    • Arranging farrier/veterinary appointments

  5. Yard Rules

    • All droppings must be cleared from riding and yard areas.
    • Jumps must be put away after use.
    • Horses leaving overnight must undergo a 2-week quarantine upon return.
    • No unsupervised children under 18 are allowed.
    • Riders must wear approved safety gear, including hats and body protectors.
    • Dogs are not permitted.

  6. Insurance and Health Requirements

    • Horse owners are responsible for ensuring their horse is insured for third-party liability.
    • All horses must be fully vaccinated for Equine Influenza and Tetanus.

  7. Veterinary and Emergency Procedures

    • Owners are responsible for all veterinary and farrier costs.
    • If immediate veterinary attention is needed, the proprietor may act on behalf of the owner if contact cannot be made.
    • If a veterinarian advises immediate euthanasia to prevent suffering and the owner cannot be reached, the proprietor may give consent.

  8. Conduct on Premises

    • Riders and visitors must not create a nuisance or disturbance.
    • Smoking is not permitted.
    • Riders must clean up after themselves and their horses.

  9. Termination
    A full calendar month’s written notice is required to terminate this agreement.

  10. Agreement to Terms
    By purchasing any service online, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
